A Glimmer of Gold

Featured Artist:  Gustav Klimt

Gustav Klimt was an Austrian Symbolist painter.  Klimt had a “Golden Phase” in which he used gold leaf in painting the famous “Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer I”.  Gold leaf is a special material which will be used to accent paintings.  In this class we will use metallic colors to enhance a child’s interpretation of an original Klimt inspired art work.
